Synopsis
History is a lazy plagiarist.
Set in an isolated, beautiful village steeped in history, HER SONG is a playful, surprising meditation on creativity, inheritance, and belonging.
Executive-produced by legendary James Ivory and starring Kalki Koechlin and Eléa Clair, John M Keller’s sparkling comedy explores how the stories we tell are shaped as much by coincidence as by choice—and how listening closely can change everything
Olivia, a Franco-American writer, returns to her grandmother’s village in the south of France and is enchanted by a local woman who quickly becomes the face of her new novel. As a number of coincidences ensue, Olivia asks herself whether she's part of history's unfolding story, or vice-versa.
